Headhunting

"Search" also known as "headhunting" is recommended for companies that require a candidate that is particularly hard to find. Usually recommended for senior sales managers, sales directors or candidates with skills that can only be found within a specific vertical market.

When agreeing to undertake a search assignment companies will have the benefit of our contingency recruitment service within the agreed fee.

After taking a detailed brief your consultant will then agree a list of target companies that will give us access to the type of candidates required for the assignment. The company list will vary in length deepening on the type of experience you require.

Once we have a list of companies that both parties are happy with, Nicholls Lindsay will conduct detailed "research" using a variety of anonymous methods to collate a list of people within those companies that match the vacancy brief.

Once a list of target candidates has been identified we will then make professional approaches to those candidates and identify the highest achievers within those companies.

Candidates that are deemed the most suitable for the role will then be interviewed face to face to verify their suitability and enthusiasm for the position.

Our final shortlist of candidates that match the brief will then be presented to the client, together with detailed interview notes (our assessment of the candidate), details of all approaches and conversations carried out during assignment.

Once the client has gone through their own interview process and are in a position to make a formal offer of employment, Nicholls Lindsay will then ensure any resignation or counter offer is handled to reduce the chance of failure.
